I agree with the other reviewer that the icon is ugly. I find the brown strange and creepy, the empty book does not convey the proper image, and the red bookmark looks like a worm. eeeccchhhh. What does tn and sn mean and why isnt there anywhere that tells us what they mean? I am guessing translation and study notes??? And the map information doesnt do any good when we cant find the maps??? Why cant it just show us the map when we click on map. The coordinates are useless. Interesting app. I like the NLT or CEV translations better. Good start though and nice of you to offer a free version.

This bible is easy to use and to find words or statements in the bible. Sorry to say that it works so much better than the purchased Loaded version does. Im sold on this version even though I did purchase the Loaded version.

Very easy to use. The dial a verse is great for going right to a book or specific scripture. The text sizing and white text on black background makes it so easy to read. My favorite Bible app by far. Thank You for making this available!!!

I used this universal version on an iPad, and it works pretty well. Has notes, and a clever verse selector dial. Certainly worth a try!

Finally, a part of itunes that doesnt include cuss words or romance. All religious people should get this app. Tell me. Wouldnt you rather get a free app thats good for your soul? Or something thatll poison your sense of wrong and right. You Decide.

This is by far my favorite app. I read my daily 3 chapters while eating my lunch at work. Its very easy to use. After about 2 weeks, I havent had any problems.

This is the only offline bible I could find and it works great go on get the app

I use it alot more then my real bible, but sometimes the font/text sizing glitches and then gets too small or big and wont let me fix it

Really a great app! Easy to read and great for digging deeper into the Bible. The only two requsts that I would make are: 1. Make it so that you can highlight certain words or passages, not just the entire verse. 2. Add a NKJV version.

Where is the random verse part. Im shaking my phone to death & nothing. No better than the other Bible apps, but they didnt lie to me to get me to download them. I miss the Pre.

I think the app used to work better than it does now. Its slow and buggy. Scrolling doesnt flow smooth at times. In the past pinching the screen to make the words screen bigger or smaller worked better. It is very slow now. Still a good bible app. Not 5 stars at the moment.

5 stars! It works great, does just what they say and is the answer to my frustration about kindle bible books (not knowing where I am and no easy way to jump around). Wish it didnt have to connect to touchbible.org to do the reading plan though, cant you make it save it somewhere in the app so it doesnt have to connect? I want to do the reading plan even when I have no service. Other than that, wonderful!!!

Their translation notes for the NET version are extremely engaging. They open up so many paths of meditation and studying inside the Word of God that you will probably spend hours in one single passage (e.g.Heb 1:1-4 will keep you busy for a while). From a strictly technical point of view, the app will probably be a 3-4 star, but as a tool to use the Net translation on your iPad, its worth every penny (oops, sorry, I forgot it is free...thanks!) I also recommend the Blue Letter Bible, since I use the Strongs concordance a lot.

I just downloaded this application and I love it. Thanks! I just wish that there were a couple of Spanish Translations as well.
